Overstone Lakes is situated just outside the village of Overstone, next to Overstone Manor. Set in 115 acres of beautiful lakes and wooded parkland an ideal location for all the family. The Park offers the latest in sophisticated holiday homes and superb facilities.
Overstone Lakes Holiday Park is a David Bellamy Gold award park, located just a few miles from the M1 in the rural heart of Northamptonshire and is a world away from the stress of daily life set in beautiful lakes and woodlands amid 115 acres of outstanding former Overstone Manor grounds that creates a truly relaxing rural atmosphere.
The Venue
This is a rare, luxury Caravan/Mobile home park set in beautiful grounds with it’s own fishing lakes. There are two fishing lakes on the complex, both fed by stream, Pike Pool and Upper Lake which date back to pre 1945. Pike Pool is a 3 acre, 32 matched peg lake and mainly fished by carp anglers. This lake has hundreds of carp averaging 10lb with some reaching the mid 20lb. Other species known are chub, bream, roach, perch and pike. There are no reports of any tench in this pool.
At the top of the park you can find a well stocked shop, laundrette, hairdressers and cafeteria serving breakfasts and tasty snacks. Adjacent to this is the original Overstone Manor House which has been converted to a public house overlooking the park, serving a carvery daily. There are also plenty of local village pubs serving food.
