On the outskirts of the village of Kiti, Larnaca Cyprus, the Shanghai Chinese Restaurant, is a breath of fresh air. The restaurant is smart with spacious comfortable tables inside and out. The menu is quite comprehensive and they offer a set menu for €19.00, as well as a Meze menu for €20.00.
We opted for the Meze menu, which included Plain Rice, Egg fried Rice, Prawn crackers, Spare ribs, Kung Pao Chicken, Squid, Noodles and many many more. Three of us ordered 3 Meze and we could have catered for at least one more person.
Everything is cooked fresh, so it comes along slowly, at a wonderful pace, allowing you to enjoy everything without pressure and actually enjoy your evening, which is a wonderful change from the current high speed restaurants, that pile your food out as fast as they can, they grab your plates as fast as they can so that you will leave. No, at this restaurant, you can really have a pleasant evening, we were there for nearly FIVE HOURS! Fair enough, this is not fast food, but that is not why you would go there.

The quality of the food is second to none, it is authentic, everything is spotless and you can eve nsmeel the fabric softener on the Napkins.
This place is highly recommended, average meal for two price would be around fifty Euros, but worth it.
