The Location
Located on Boughton Green Road, The Sunnyside is on the edge of Kingsthorpe, which is accessible from the main A508 or the A43.
The Venue
Sat on it’s own grounds, The boasts a large car park and a pretty Beer garden with Children’s play area.
On entering the premises the first impression is one of a modern smart, almost ‘Avant Gard’ theme. There are some very attractive sofa booths, there is plenty of spacious seating where families or small groups can enjoy drinks and meals in the comfort of their own space.
There is an open plan Pizza section, along with along with an Ice Cream section. As there is a lot of space, there is plenty of room for those who just want drinks, as the tables are not set out to discourage drinkers.
Food & Drink
The drinks selection are pretty much mainstream, but they cater perfectly for the target market.
They operate under the ‘Generous George’ brand, which is one of great value, along with quality that far exceeds the cost.
The menu is quite comprehensive, covering everything from starters to Burgers, Pizzas, Steaks as well as good selection of Desserts.
The Sunnyside has built up a good reputation and is normally a very busy place. It is an example of the transformation of traditional Pub in to a more relevant, popular and successful Pub/Restaurant that is far more in tune with its market than many others.
