The location
The Toby Carvery at East Hunsbury, is located just off the A508 and is part of the same building as the Travelodge. It is a large place sat in its own grounds with parking and two outdoor areas.
Access is very easy from the M1, on the A508.
The Venue
The building is large and spacious inside, with seating available for groups from 2 to 10/15. The tables are not all crammed together like many other places and in most places, you are able to feel free to talk in comfort.
There is a very large lounge bar area, for drinks or even for dining, where in fact it is often used as an overflow, or buy those feeling more comfortable to eat there.
There is a private dining room that can be reserved, it can cater for around 25, it is separated with glass doors, therefore it can be used for anything from a family get-together to a business meeting.
The food is good and while on Sundays and Bank holidays, the price is higher, it still compares well with other places that offer something similar. However, during the week, the cost of eating represents great value, it is not normally as busy and there is normally, no need to wait.
For those in the vicinity, this is definitely worth a visit.
