The location
The Greyhound is a very famous Chef & Brewer Pub, built around the 1500s. It is situated on the Towcester rd. at Milton Malsor, it is a large destination pub/restaurant, sat on it’s own grounds.
It is a place people head for on warm days, for outdoor drinks in the peaceful gardens, but also on cold winter’s nights, for the warm atmosphere.
The Venue
The Pub leans more towards catering for food than drinks only and it is fitted out in several dining areas, each with a character of its own. The Menu us creative and individual, it stands out when compared to most ‘cheep & cheerful’ Pub/Restaurants.
People also love the fact that they vary the menu regularly and have specials, such as ‘game month’ (tasty) and the current ‘festive menu’, alongside the main choices
There is a lovely atmosphere and the staff are courteous and friendly, everyone enjoys the relaxed atmosphere.
As stated, their menu is a cut above, they do not cater for the bargain basement ‘Pub Grub’ market and that reflects in the clientele and the ambience of the place as a whole.
This is a place where you could go for a spur of the moment meal, or for something more formal.
